Admittedly, I never really appreciated just how dominant FOMICH was until he came back to fight Aihia at Topdog 42. It was during the pre-fight conference, when he was handed the mic to speak, that I actually lost interest in him. FOMICH talked about playing in rock bands, rapping, and all these things he'd always wanted to do but never did. He left me with the impression that he didn't care how the fight with Aihia was going to turn out, and I 100% judged him for not being as focused as I thought he should be. I made Reels about how much Aihia was going to crush him. I told my audience not to bet on him, that he was out of his depth in a competitive fist fighting arena.

Well... today I'm 100% eating my words, and I'm sending out a public apology to FOMICH himself. I was wrong. 300% wrong. I never dreamed he'd put the beat down on Aihia that he did.

During the post-Topdog 42 conference, FOMICH said one thing that changed my entire outlook on him. Discussing his training, he mentioned — almost in passing — that Aihia didn't have a solid defense when he was walking backwards, and that he was going to exploit that weakness. You know what? FOMICH sure did. I've never seen confidence drain off a fighter's face the way it drained off Aihia's, round after round.

No disrespect to Aihia — he's a total funking beast, I just wish he'd respond to my DMs.
