Tungus reminds me a lot of "The Khan" — he's fierce, experienced, tall, and filled with focused rage! Tungus also channels something I haven't seen many fighters do. When he unloads, a throaty grunt comes out of his mouth the moment he throws his punch, and if it lands, it's most likely the last thing you'll hear before you wake up on your back.

The first fight I saw him in at Topdog, he knocked out his opponent, and right after he knew the guy was down, he raised his hands and started walking around the center of the ring saying, "Give me some cabbage!" I thought it was the greatest thing a fighter could say after sending his opponent into the 4th dimension.

Despite all the focused rage and grit, Tungus is rather soft-spoken and quiet. He clearly takes in all of his surroundings and then makes decisions based on what his senses tell him — and it's working.

During Tungus's 2nd fight at Topdog, he went against "The Executioner," a guy who embodied what raw, untrained rage looks like. He was wild and out of control, making statements and threats after he'd already been knocked down for the 2nd time. Tungus ignored The Executioner's advances and picked him apart one punch at a time until he couldn't fight anymore, making The Executioner look stupid and weak in the process.

During the post-fight interview, Tungus spoke about his opponent's behavior and just thought it was weird and unnecessary. I was impressed, to say the least, and became a big Tungus fan overnight.

As an added bonus, Tungus and The Tower are buddies and go hunting together in the wintertime! What's better than that? Nothing!
